But, with all due respect, five stars should mean something special.
We're not exactly spoiled for choice in Central America. I'm not saying it's bad, or that I regret my purchase. There's an entire area of (more identical looking) buildings that seem to serve no purpose at all other than to be glimpsed from the air. I just feel that it could have benefited from some creativity to make it look like it's probably not kept up to military standards. MPPA covers a lot more ground, I'll admit. When you look at what WingSim is offering for 9 or 12 euros, you have to ask why CentralSim didn't put much work into "character" or "atmosphere" or whatever you want to call it that makes you feel like you're at a real place. They did include quite a few, but there are so many red roofs it would have been nice to work in two or three different textures. Air Force base, it's hard to complain that the buildings look uninspired. (Is the tower really stuck out in the woods so you can barely find it?) I suppose from the standpoint of an old U.S. But I confess to being a bit underwhelmed by MPPA, especially by comparison.
I had their SABE Buenos Aires and thought it was great.
